All solid veneer with spruce top, sapeli sides and back, and sapeli neck.The cutaway GA (Grand Auditorium) shape is the most popular in Taylor's lineup, and in Japan, TK from Ling Toshigure and others used this model.

Taylor has been ranked as a high-end model starting with the 300 series, with solid electric acoustic quality that is different from the 100 and 200, a crisp, bright, soft tone, and versatile acoustic sound.The response is good, and it's understandable that many artists say this is better than the higher-end models, 500 or 800.
