Made in 2003, weighing 4.27kg.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThe \"Les Paul Custom\" debuted in 1954 as a higher-end model of the Les Paul and production ended once in 1960. At its 1954 debut, it was all-mahogany, but from its 1968 reintroduction, like the Standard, the body structure changed to a maple top with mahogany back. The fingerboard is ebony.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThis model reproduces the 1954 all-mahogany specification, combined with gold hardware and ebony color, creating a beautiful look known as \"Black Beauty.\"\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThe greatest feature of this model is the pickup. It features an \"AlnicoⅤ (P-480)\" on the front. This is not currently sold individually, and it's famous that \"Seymour Duncan Custom Shop\" released a model reproducing this one, which SUGIZO uses on his signature model. It's popular as a higher-output pickup than the P-90, and this Gibson-made pickup is quite rare.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThe rear being a standard \"P-90\" is intentional as well, achieving a finely-balanced sound. The appearance isn't a manufactured relic like recent Murphy Labs work, but rather the texture that comes from actual wear and damage. Paired with this is a rough, rock and roll-flavored sound, making it a model with many fans.
