Return Policy
At MION, we do our best to accurately describe and grade every used vinyl record we sell. Please read our return policy carefully. It is designed to be fair, transparent, and compliant with UK consumer law.
1. Your Right to Cancel
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, UK customers have the right to cancel an order made online within 14 calendar days of receiving the goods.
- You may cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of delivery.
- You will receive a full refund, including the cost of standard delivery (if charged).
- You must return the item in the same condition you received it.
- You are responsible for return postage unless the item is faulty.
2. Record Grading and What’s Included
We follow the Goldmine standard for grading and include detailed notes on the condition of each record, sleeve, and any extras (such as OBI strips, inserts, posters, etc.).
Please note: We use sample images for our listings. The item you receive may differ visually, but all included components and condition details are listed in the product description. The description forms the basis of the sale.
3. Missing Item Claims (e.g. OBI strip, insert)
If a customer claims an item was missing (e.g. OBI strip), but our listing stated it was included:
- Partial refunds will not be issued without a return of the full item for inspection.
- If the item is returned and the claim is confirmed, we will issue a full or partial refund and cover return postage.
- If the item is returned and we confirm all components were included, we will not issue a refund and may return the item at your expense.
This protects both our business and our customers from loss or error.
4. Faulty or Misdescribed Items
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, if an item is damaged or not as described, you are entitled to a full refund.
- Please contact us within a reasonable time, ideally within 30 days of delivery.
- If we agree that the item is materially faulty or misdescribed, we will offer a full refund or replacement (if available), and cover return shipping costs.
5. Items Not Eligible for Return
- After the 14-day cancellation period, unless the item is faulty or misdescribed.
- For minor or subjective grading disagreements within normal tolerance.
- If a sealed item is opened (if sold as sealed).
- If the customer refuses to return the product when required for inspection.
6. How to Return an Item
- Contact us at help@mion.uk with your order number and reason for return.
- We will respond with return instructions if applicable.
- Once the item is received and confirmed, your refund will be processed within 14 days.
